Your privacy

What we keep

• Your name, email address, WhatsApp number and the area you live in.
• Your child’s first name and age.
• Lesson times, which lessons happened, make-ups, and Chelsea’s notes and stickers after each swim.
• Messages you send Chelsea in the app.
• Payments: the package, the amount and the date. Your card details go straight to Stripe, our card payment provider, and never reach us.
• If you turn them on, the details your phone needs to show you pop-up reminders.

Why we keep it

Only to run your child’s lessons: booking times, keeping track of lessons and make-ups, sending reminders, taking payments and sharing how each swim went. If you join our newsletter, we also use your email to send it, and you can leave it at any time from the link in any newsletter. We never sell your details or use them for anything else.

Who can see it

Chelsea, and any Swimly coach who teaches your child. When you sign in, you see your own family only. No other family can ever see your details or your child’s.

Services that help us

To run the app we use a few trusted companies, who keep your details safe for us:

• Supabase, which stores the app’s information
• Vercel, which runs the app
• Stripe, for card payments
• Resend, which sends our emails
• Klaviyo, for the newsletter

Some of their computers are outside the UAE. We only use well-known providers who take keeping data safe seriously.

How long we keep it

While your child swims with us, and for up to two years after their last lesson so we can welcome you back easily. Payment records may need to be kept longer for accounting. After that, we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask to see what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Just email info@swimlyacademy.com or message Chelsea, and we’ll take care of it.
